by Jonathan Fields, the author and researcher who created the assessment.
I was blown away by the simplicity and accuracy of the assessment!

How the Sparketype Assessment Transformed My Career
I gained a new understanding of why I made career moves over the years, and why I felt compelled to start a business coaching students. I needed to fully embrace the work of my Sparketype: Advisor, and Sage! My inner impulse to do the work of advising and teaching is what lights me up! I feel energized and alive when I'm working directly with a student—teaching them about time management and career exploration, (but really how to manage their mind and their emotions!). Turns out I've been doing this since I was little!
Becoming a Certified Sparketype Advisor
I wanted to know more about the assessment and the 10 Sparketypes, so I signed up for the certification program to become a Certified Sparketype Advisor.
Learning from the Creator, Jonathan Fields
In this training course, led by the founder, Jonathan Fields, we went into depth on:
The research, testing, and creation of the Sparketype assessment
How to apply the Sparketype framework with clients
Ways to help people align their work with what energizes them the creation, research, and testing of the assessment, and worked on how to use the assessment with clients.
Can the Sparketype Assessment Help Students?
During a 1:1 conversation with Jonathan, I asked him directly:
"Can I use this assessment with high school and college students?"
He responded, "Absolutely!"
Since then, I've been using the Sparketype Assessment with my college clients in our coaching sessions, and have taught many high school students to identify and figure out what work energizes them now, and how to translate that into a future career!
